24th to 26th March 2023
Kia ora koutou,
All Rotarians, Rotaractors, Friends of Rotary, prospective members and
their partners are invited to attend our very first District 9999 Conference
to be held in Oamaru over the weekend 24-26 March 2023.
We are lining up a range of inspiring speakers to share remarkable life
journeys, insights, and experiences in line with our Conference
theme:
Imagine: Embracing diversity
The Oamaru community is very supportive of Rotary and there is no
better place to catch up with old friends, find collaborative project
partners and support our Rotary International World President Jennifer Jones’s theme of ‘Imagine Rotary’. Join Rotarians from around the district to explore Oamaru, ride your bike or walk the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail®. We look forward to you all joining us to celebrate coming together as one Rotary district in the South Island.

Jan Boustead
Rotary District 9999
Governor 2022-2023

Welcome,
Lincoln Rotarians are extremely proud District Governor Jan Boustead is entrusted with this prestigious leadership role. It is a privilege as a club to acknowledge her achievement and host fellow District 9999 Rotarians for the 2023 Conference in Oamaru.
In writing this I considered our ever changing diversity of Rotary. Since 1981 Rotary Clubs and Rotarians of Districts 9970 & 9980 have been creating lasting change in their communities and across the globe. The first conference for the new District 9999 will be the time for celebrating past achievements of Districts 9970 & 9980, reconnecting with old friends and remembering life changing moments we created together. Our conference theme “Imagine Embracing Diversity” plans to showcase inspiring leaders from our community and encourage fresh perspectives, to lead us on into our bright new future as District 9999. I encourage you to fill out the registration form and come and join fellow Rotarians determined to make this an awesome celebration for the first year of a united District.
David Drake
Conference Committee Chair
Rotary Club of Lincoln.
